AF-T Series
Tabular Alumina
Sintered high-density alpha-alumina aggregate for extreme refractory applications
AF-T tabular alumina is produced by sintering high-purity calcined alumina at temperatures approaching 1900°C. The resulting product has a dense, tabular crystal morphology with low open porosity (< 5%), high bulk density, and exceptional thermal shock resistance. Available in multiple size fractions for optimal particle packing.
Key Features
- ✓ Bulk density ≥ 3.50 g/cm³ on pellets
- ✓ Open porosity ≤ 5%
- ✓ Thermal shock resistance at ΔT > 1000°C
- ✓ Size fractions from 0–0.5 mm to 3–5 mm
